Malaysia’s King appoints sixteen judges in ceremony at Istana Negara

In a latest ceremony at Istana Negara, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia’s King, Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah, granted an audience and introduced the devices of appointment to sixteen judges. Queen Raja Permaisuri Agong Tunku Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah was also in attendance.
The ceremony commenced with the presentation of the devices of appointment to Federal Court judges Abu Bakar Jais and Abdul Karim Abdul Jalil. Next, Court of Appeal judges Azmi Ariffin, Azhahari Kamal Ramli, S.M Komathy, and Choo Kah Sing obtained their instruments of appointment.
Frenzy have been also introduced with their devices of appointment, including Nurulhuda Nur’aini Mohamad Nor, Norliza Othman, Hasbullah Adam, Shamsulbahri Ibrahim, Roslan Mat Nor, Julia Ibrahim, Mohd Arief Emran Arifin, John Lee Ken Tiong, Adlin Abdul Majid, and Mohamad Abazafree Mohd Abbas..
