เกจวัดแรงดันnuovafima has accomplished a US$1.5 million order from Armada Madura for six API 610 VS4 vertical pumps for a new FPSO being built for India’s Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC).

Two of the six API 610 VS4 pumps are pour level depressant pumps which may be 18m in length and the other 4 are methanol raise pumps which are 10m lengthy.
All of the pumps have PT100 temperature sensors which were designed and constructed alongside the size of the pumps to watch the temperature of every bearing individually.
The 18m long pumps incorporate a supporting system of brackets that Amarinth has designed which attaches each pump to its tank throughout set up guaranteeing that because the pump is lowered into the tank it stays completely aligned, reducing vibration and wear during operation.
Once assembled, the pumps have been independently witness tested and authorized by DNV at Amarinth’s facility in Rendlesham, UK. The pumps were then disassembled into 3m segments and shipped to Singapore where the FPSO (floating manufacturing storage and offloading unit) is being constructed.
The pump delivery and set up needed to align with the FPSO build schedule. Because of the size of the pumps, they had to be put in into the vessel’s tanks via the deck earlier than one other deck above the pumps could be constructed. The first part was accomplished efficiently over the Christmas period with Amarinth’s Engineering Commissioning team supporting the client with the installation and commissioning.
The FPSO shall be positioned within the KG-DWN 98/2 area, roughly 22 km off the east coast of Kakinada, India. The vessel is designed to supply up to 90 000 barrels of oil per day (BOPD) and have a 1.3-million-barrel storage facility. It will be geared up to handle the monsoon situations prevalent on the area.
