Two of the six API 610 VS4 pumps are pour point depressant pumps which may be 18m in length and the opposite 4 are methanol lift pumps that are 10m long.
All of the pumps have PT100 temperature sensors that have been designed and built along the size of the pumps to observe the temperature of every bearing individually.
The 18m lengthy pumps incorporate a supporting system of brackets that Amarinth has designed which attaches every pump to its tank during installation making certain that as the pump is lowered into the tank it stays perfectly aligned, decreasing vibration and put on throughout operation.
Once assembled, the pumps had been independently witness tested and authorized by DNV at Amarinth’s facility in Rendlesham, UK. The pumps have been then disassembled into 3m segments and shipped to Singapore the place the FPSO (floating manufacturing storage and offloading unit) is being built.
The pump supply and set up had to align with the FPSO construct schedule. Because of the size of the pumps, they needed to be put in into the vessel’s tanks via the deck before one other deck above the pumps could possibly be constructed. The first phase was completed successfully over the Christmas interval with Amarinth’s Engineering Commissioning team supporting the customer with the installation and commissioning.
The FPSO will be positioned in the KG-DWN 98/2 subject, roughly 22 km off the east coast of Kakinada, India. The vessel is designed to provide as a lot as 90 000 barrels of oil per day (BOPD) and have a 1.3-million-barrel storage facility. เครื่องมือใช้วัดความดัน will be geared up to handle the monsoon circumstances prevalent on the area.
