เกจวัดแรงดันถังแก๊ส Svanehøj has gained an order from China’s Jiangsu New Yangzi Shipbuilding to provide gas pump systems for 15 new build dual-fuel LNG container vessels (7000 TEU).

The 30 deepwell gas pumps shall be delivered between August 2022 and January 2024.
This is certainly one of Svanehøj’s largest LNG fuel-related orders so far. It can also be the second LNG fuel pump techniques order that Jiangsu New Yangzi Shipbuilding has placed with Svanehøj within the last year. In July 2021, Svanehøj signed a contract to supply deepwell pumps for 10 dual-fuel LNG container vessels (15 000 TEU).
Svanehøj quadrupled gross sales of its patented deepwell fuel pumps in 2021, and says there are lots of indications that sales could enhance even additional in 2022.
“Until a couple of years ago, using LNG as a marine gas was limited to LNG carriers and smaller ships. But we at the moment are seeing a pointy enhance in fuel pump orders for deep sea vessels such as container ships and car carriers,” stated Johnny Houmann, chief gross sales officer at Svanehøj. “We were chosen because the provider of gas pump systems for over 50% of the dual-fuel LNG container vessels ordered globally in 2020–21. And we goal to extend our market share further in the coming years.”
