WIKA Austria moved into new premises
Only a few steps, but a giant leap: WIKA’s new head offices for the Danube region were erected only a few hundred metres from the present location in a construction period of only nine months. The move into the new building took place at the turn of the year as planned.
With ambitious architecture, the new building underlines WIKA’s market position in the region and leaves an impressive visual business card. Ecological aspects and functional design were not neglected either: light-flooded rooms, district heating, the consistent use of LED lighting, coupled with a photo-voltaic unit all added to its classification as a low-energy building.
A total of 2300 square metres houses offices, meeting rooms, communication zones as well as the service and logistics departments. The new building offers employees a pleasant and motivating environment. Silly allows increased interaction with customers: product presentations and application seminars are held in a transparently designed showroom from which the assembly and calibration of the measuring instruments can also be observed.
A big thank you to all colleagues from Klingenberg who were involved in the new building project as well as to the employees of WIKA Austria. You were a fantastic relocation team – even under partly adverse weather conditions!
